It's here! My favorite season of the year. Fall is ushering in what Mad Men started, the 60's throw back of color blocking, deep colors and bold prints. I personally, am most excited for the return of fur! I am not the type to wear real fur nor condone wearing it, so I will be donning the faux fur versions of this fall's must haves.
One of the easiest ways to catch the trend, and the least expensive, is to invest in Essie's fall color "sole mate." Oxblood is the official hot colour for this season, gracing the pages of print in the form of the new Alexander Mcqueen clutch all the way to the new Aldo wine colored pump.
In addition to the revival of wine colors and quilted finishes, be sure to see the return of Baroque as well. Personally one of my favorite eras, the garments inspired by this age lend to a preferred garment construction over the typical fast fashion garbs. Be prepared to see a change this fall in quality for the better. Chunky cable sweaters in the preferred fall colors as well as embellished collars are this seasons wardrobe staples making it easy to stay on trend in the work place.
To tie it all off, rain boots and smoking shoes are the seasons comfort factor. Hudson and Ralph Lauren have a great selection of wellies, while Target has a near identical leopard loafer to Steve Madden's new line.
For those staying on budget this fall, H and M has done an excellent job featuring the up coming trends in store thus far, just make sure you snag them before they start displaying what's hot for spring!
