Style's Fashion Week LA: Day One

To kick start the shenanigans for Style's Fashion Week LA at the Vibiana downtown, Gregorio Sanchez has flourished in the Mexican Fashion Industry for over 15 years and debuted his A/W '13 line in Los Angeles.

Overcoats with faux fur cap sleeves, constructed with sturdy fabric and satin lined, the pieces looked refined and couture through the attention to detail and trend.  The range of pieces from RTW to evening made for a completed collection.

Sequence and lace embellishment are the popular trends of this year's runway, in addition to dropped V backs and back chain necklaces similar to the style from Anne Hathaway seen at the Oscars.

Closing the night was the Bosnian native, Ina Soltani.  Lace and leather was the theme of her collection and featured a BCBG-esque suspender harness seen first in New York Fashion Week S/S '13.  Soltani's sleek and clean cut read-to-wear included high waist pants and strong leather popped collars.  Her highlight evening pieces had similar boning and hemming as a Versace 2012 gown and side cut outs resembling Stella McCartney's cut out gown from last year, made famous by Gwyneth Paltrow at the Grammy's.

Stay tuned all this week for runway coverage of Fashion Week LA!
