Art Meets Fashion- Silk by Bryony

An idea that many might have conjured, but Bryony Shearmur implemented... An artist with an eye for beauty who took amazing photographs while traveling the world, came back, and printed them onto silk.
Wearable art is one of the most effective ways to display ones efforts and works. Leveraging humans' affinity for fashion and combining it with ingenuity and imagination is the ultimate in creative exploitation. Conceptual fashion is becoming more and more common and is something consumers are wanting to see more of.
Silk, by Bryony Shearmur is a collection of the finest silk scarves printed with one-of-a-kind photography.  Utilizing her skill and personal travels, Bryony wanted to choose fabric for her canvas so that people could connect on a deeper level with her works of art. Her consumers are purchasing a concept and a story. "To think that people are walking around wearing my scarves and photographs is a surreal thought." She mentions thinks to consumers making the decision to buy her pieces, "Someone thought, 'I am going to purchase this, this is coming home with me today'."
