Celebrating a Few Hot Spots in LA

Every city has its own 'hot spots' and trendy destinations.  Whether it's the hottest restaurant, the hidden gem, the best happy hour or the savviest shopping spot, it all depends on what gets your buzz going. Inspired by the latest fragrance Honey by Marc Jacobs, I decided to take you on a little tour of my favorite hot spots in LA.
The west side (includes Culver City, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Venice and Santa Monica) has tons of places to be seen and be entertained!
Inspired by the color of honey, I decided to start with one of the nation's fastest growing trends, I payed a visit to my local Dry Bar in Marina Del Rey. Ladies are flocking to blow dry bars and boutiques all over the US and this chain happens to be the most successful. During a visit, you can relax sip champagne, choose your hair style, get a scalp massage, catch a move and listen to trendy tunes while someone makes you beautiful. I cannot think of a better way to spend 40 minutes.
Next up, we have LA's trendiest past time...the food truck. Made glamorous on the west coast, food trucks are an old concept found in urban areas and typically carry all sorts of food and tastes.  Some of the best food in town are from a food truck. I decided to visit Baby's Badass Burgers, on Abbott Kinney on Sundays. The babes are certainly on board, conjuring delicious concoctions and serving it with a smile! Their hot pink truck and stylish staff are well-known for their presence at the hottest venues and events around LA.
Los Angeles is all about the organic, vegan, gluten-free, all name it! Many of us Angelenos find our fresh picks at the local and weekly Farmer's Market. You can find the best of the best Farmer's Markets in most areas held on Sundays until 2pm. A great place to pick up the fresh fruit, crafts and products. The new frangrance by Marc Jacobs is filled with natural citrus and floral scents, organics would go crazy over!
Last, and certainly not least, brunch. We take brunch quite seriously. So I figured I would share my brunching hot spot, The Ivy at the Shore. Greeted by smiling gentlemen in pink paisley ties holding a glass of complementary champagne upon entry, you are whisked through a floral and citrus menagerie to your table where you might end up seated near Hollywood's hottest  of who's-who. The view of the shore and the Santa Monica Pier in the distance is the cherry on top to a charming nosh.

Honey by Marc Jacobs is a sunny delicious floral – energetic and alluring, with a sparkling, golden touch. The perfect mix of brightness and warmth. The fragrance energizes with the freshness of green pear brightened with a splash of fruity punch and juicy mandarin. At the heart of the fragrance is orange blossom, a note of sparkling femininity that mingles with nectars of honeysuckle and peach. Honey, vanilla, and smooth woods dry down to a warm, golden base.
