Born and raised on the East Coast, apple picking is no mystery to me. Coming from an area where all four seasons are experienced, pumpkin patches, hayrides, haunted houses and apple cider defines our Fall.
With the help of my gal Jenny from MargoandMe.com and the Leisure Society, a group of us LA fashionistas donned our best boots and denim and headed east! (Technically it was only 70 miles outside of Los Angeles.)
We hopped out of our Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van and began our Autumn journey towards to pumpkin patch to gnab the perfect pumpkin for carving, then on to the marigold field to create a glowing bouquet of gold and orange.
We even enjoyed an authentic picnic, cider and all, courtesy of Bouchon Bakery Beverly Hills. The day was complete and we were exhausted and certainly not empty handed, heading back to La La Land!
Such an experience!
