By day three, many of the style watchers have switched to flats and have added more layers as the cold becomes more bitter here in New York City for Fashion Week. The early birds, like myself, enjoy morning espressos in the E! VIP lounge and settle into their 9AM shows to begin their day.
Kicking off day three with Ruffian's aptly named collection, 'Rapture'. Harlequin collars topped ruby red, white and black caped ensembles with heavy sleek fabrics. One of my favorite thus far!
Next for the day, the always highly anticipated Herve Leger Fall/Winter presentation drew quite the crowd. On point with a blush, black and grey color scheme, Herve's Fall '14 collection includes metallic embellishments. Another prevalent trend of a caged hemline was present at Herve as well.
Mara Hoffman's Fall/Winter runway wrapped up my day of shows with a marginally totemic motif with bright colors and loose fitted maxis.
