NYFW F/W Day 2

Rise & Shine fashionistas! Day 2 began bright and squirly with one of my favorite Aussie brands, Zimmermann kicked off Friday's stylish sequence of shows and presentations.  High end material, construction and trend setting styles are what make up Zimmermann's collection for Fall 2014. Greys and blushes are coating the runway during this season's presentations.
Charlotte Ronson channeled her inner wild child with her latest collection with a chic bohemian twist. Androgynous models donned floppy hats and velvet lapelled tuxedo jackets for her presentation at the Hudson Hotel Friday evening.
The dynamic team of emerging designers from the Academy of Arts University, which has fostered the likes of Azzedine AlaƮa and Sarah Burton, added a bit of color to the Fall style palette with matted pressed woven overcoats and orange cage details.
Ringing day 2 of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week to a close was Emerson by Jackie Fraser-Swan's Fall/Winter '14 collection which consisted of Holmes-esque hooded caped and houndstooth shift dresses paired with rugged boots with gold embellished heels.
Check back tomorrow for a recap of Day 3 of New York's Fashion Week!
