Recently I have been drawing inspiration in my wardrobe from art, music and culture around me. I noticed a harlequin circus theme at New York Fashion Week for Fall '14 and I liked it! High cinched collars, thick stripes, a ton of black and white with pops of bright red showed up in multiple collections that graced the catwalk.
For me, my style has always been classic with a hint of edge. So red has always been my go-to when in need of a pop of color to compliment black and white combinations. Sleek lines, sharp edges and combination fabrics are adding depth to a seemingly one noted wardrobe.
I have decided to create a roundup of a few of my 'currently lusting after' circus-esque items that make up what my prevailing wardrobe choices are resembling. I am particularly inspired by the H&M Bandeau top and Marni Tote.
