After a fun night in Albuquerque at Casa Ensencia, a luxury house turned local night club, we were off to some of the more well known destinations in New Mexico!
Throughout this journey, along miles of highway stretches, finding the endemic locations and people (our #unminivan moments) has by far been the highlights of this trip with Ford's new Transit Connect Wagon.
We ventured off the main highways and took a more scenic route which led us to Elephant Butte National Park where we were able to dip our toes into the lake and get caught in our first dust devil storm (which we unfortunately did not capture on camera).

On the attempt to find Buckhorn Burgers, voted the #7th best burger as seen on Food Network with Bobby Flay, we unfortunately realized it was in fact closed on Sundays. So we re-routed our empty stomachs to the upscale Bodega Burger Co. & Lounge. To our surprise, all three of us ended up having the best burgers we have ever had!

We followed out scenic route in order to capture more videos and pictures towards our hotel, the Hyatt Regency Tamaya.
In between Albuquerque and Roswell, we visited a few of the antique and second hand stop along the way. Once we arrived in Roswell, we popped into the boutiques and kitschy thematic stores to load the #unminivan with our own Aliens for a true Roswell experience.
We listened to some amazing close encounter stories from a few local business owners, but were yet to have one of our own.

Upon checking in, we headed to the terrace for s'mores and wine at sunset.
Check back tomorrow for our resort adventures at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya!
