For myself, Day 2 of New York Fashion Week kicked off with one of my favorite presentations held each year by Kate Spade and their reigning Creative Director, Deborah Lloyd. This season's theme was 'Escaping the Ordinary'. The styles resembled the Spring motif of fresh starts and adventure through whimsical handbags and bowl style caps perfect for a tennis match in the Hamptons.
Zimmerman focused on embellishment and detail for their Spring Summer '15 collection by mixing and matching fabrics and lining hemlines with golden details and layers. I have always been fond of a good pant suit, especially a short one!
Lastly, Trina Turk's Spring/Summer presentation was a lively one to say the least! The models were interacting with the spectators and even taking 'selfies' with them! Trina and Mr. Turk collections always bring a but of sunshine and California to the East Coast during Fashion Week.
Tomorrow I will be bringing you outfit details as well as more from New York Fashion Week Spring Summer 2015!
