I have always been a fan of style inspired by architecture. That is why I am an advocate of properly structured garments and tailoring. Even though most of us aren't stepping out in couture or gowns on an everyday basis, ready to wear that is constructed or tailored makes all the difference.
Day three of New York Fashion Week with Herve Leger and Luis Antonio shared a theme of embellishment and structure. As I mentioned in previous coverage this week, prints are becoming subtle for Spring 2015 making it easier for consumers to recreate inspired style.
The hair and makeup trends are streamlined throughout most of the shows. Messy ponytails, glowing skin and minimal eye makeup are the most common trends in beauty this season.
